1. Fundamentals of Biology – MITOCW
This is the best Biology Course on the web I ever came across. The best part about this course is molecular biology, genetics, and Recombinant technology. These concepts became very easy after going through Prof. Eric Lander’s Lectures. The assignments are also very challenging.
2. Bio 1A – UC Berkeley
This was another course I did when I was in school. Earlier this all was available on youtube but now they have removed the videos. Here the hyperlink will take you to the course page where you can find all the lectures. There are many versions of Bio 1A. This is my favorite. Jennifer Doudna one of the professors of this course also got a noble prize for her works.
3. Bio 1B – UC Berkeley
This is the second part of the above course. Earlier this all was available on youtube but now they have removed the videos. Here the hyperlink will take you to the course page where you can find all the lectures. There are many versions of Bio 1B. This is my favorite. You will really enjoy studying in this course.
4. Shomu’s Biology
This is one of the oldest and a gold standard resource used by a lot of students. I even saw his video mentioned by Jenifer Doudna in a lecture in Bio1A. The Hyperlink will take you to his website. Here is the link for his youtube channel.
5. Neela Bakore Tutorials
When I was preparing for my entrance exams, at that time this channel was started. Whiteboard lectures from Dr. Neela Bakore are great for understanding the concepts. You can make this your only source if you are preparing for Indian medical entrance. On her website, she has added few test papers also to help students. 6. Professorfink
Professor Fink is one of the best youtube channels you can follow for Biology. On his website, he has collected many educational resources topicwise.
