Histology is not the student’s favorite subject. It is due to the diagrams that have to be drawn. This will be repeated when you study Histopathology so it is advised to clear your concepts here only.

Difiore’s Histology is the best Histology book one can find in your library. The book covers diagrams for most of the sections in the human body relevant to undergraduate MBBS and histopathology.

2. Inderbir Singh’S Textbook Of Human Histology​

Inderbir Singh’s Textbook Of Human Histology​ is the Indian alternative to Histology books. It is easier to understand and more exam friendly. You should be following this book if it’s hard to understand Difiore’s.

3. Textbook Of Human Histology – Yogesh Sontakke

Yogesh Sontakke’s Textbook Of Human Histology is another  Indian alternative to Histology books. The book is very concise and contains a lot of easy-to-draw diagrams. It will help a lot for undergraduates You should be following this book if it’s hard to understand Difiore’s.

Histology is mostly about diagrams so you need to get the book with more easy to interpret diagrams. For this purpose, Difiore’s is best. Follow I.B Singh only if you find it difficult to understand from Difiore’s Atlas of Histology.
